Extra work

Last night I worked in the hotel, to make up for their flexibility to let me go when I found the right job.
Maybe someone gave me a bug, because I left there sneezing and coughing.
We were supposed to go to a parade with friends, but it was cancelled due to bad weather.

No, I’m not going back to school.
No. it’s the time that shops have special departments with schoolstuff and kids examine each and every item with great attention.
I was finished at work and went to town to do some quick shopping.

Rain!

Today we went with our german friends to other friends.
We made an appointment a few weeks ago to meet each other somewhere in town, but half an hour before it started to rain, and it got worse by the minute.
Because we wanted to have lunch together we had no problem finding each other inside one [...]

Our days away

Our days away were gorgeous.
Because we worked so hard the past years we had to find a way to unwind and to feel really relaxed.
We slept in the first day.missed breakfast and were almost too late for lunch.
After the warm lunch, we went for a walk to see the immediate neighbourhood of the hotel.

Tired …

I’m very tired, because we went home today, driving all the way from the centre of Germany to our home.
We took our breaks, but a few times we landed in traffic jams, and as you know, one can’t control anything then.
In a way we were lucky that near the German border we have some friends [...]

We’re coming back

We’re coming back…tomorrow.
We’ve had a wonderful time, but duty calls.
Ofcourse we tried to escape from hearing it, but the weather helped us to make a decision.
High temperatures are expected and that’s not what we really need.
So we’re leaving tomorrow. looking back on a great time.

Just a short message that we’ve had a good ride to the hotel.
It’s beautiful here.
Lots of woods to walk in, a wonderful hotelroom and very good food.
On our arrival we got a basket with a bottle of wine, some sausages of the area, cheese, jams, butter and bread.
We won’t go hungry tonight.

Nerves…

Just one day and then I have to go back for the job application.
I’m getting really nervous now, because I’m so close to being accepted.
The past days I’ve been with the old lady so I didn’t think about it so much, but I’m at home and doing the laundry is not helping.
