First play then work

Today we had snow in the morning and children inside looking with such a craving faces outside that we decided to give them half an hour to play outside.

Good decision.

By the time they went inside again the snow was melting, they were cold and after making mugs with hot chocolate for them and coffee for us they worked all day as hard as possible.

I remember my own schooltime.
Our favorite teacher did the same and she got the best results of all.

It’s a pity she doesn’t live anymore, otherwise I would have told her what happened today.
She would have smiled her wise smile. I’m sure of that.
