closing ceremony of our olympics

Yes, of our olympics.

We had a project at school involving all classes and all the disciplines of the olympics.

Today we had the closing ceremony of the project.

All groups represented one or two disciplines and showed us what they wanted us to know.

So some showed the rules, others the movements, and others the clothes and equipment.
Added to that some famous names, and ofcourse a contest of which group represented the sport best.

It was not decided by school, but by a vote of the parents and all those interested to vote.

That group received tickets to the skating hall and they had to take the pledge, representing the whole school.

They pledged fair play during gymnastics and playing in and outside school, no bullying, degrading, etc. and to help those children who are not able to be winners, to become a winner in their own lives.

Because the closing ceremoney at TV was so great, we showed it on the large computerscreen and when the concert started we put the speakers on loud and we had a great party.

Never had so much fun with the children.

I was lucky that the person who had to check my qualifications as a teacher was still there.
The main part of this whole event was my idea, with a lot of assistance of a good friend, and because the bullying project was integrated in the event I got a very good mark.

Now I’m going to take a quiet time.
I’m soooo tired!!!
